OUR FOUNDER
Maya Brooks
Founder + Creative + Coach
After nearly a decade in the corporate world, I found myself burned out and yearning for more—more autonomy, more authenticity, more financial freedom, and the opportunity to create something that truly reflected my values. Leaving that chapter behind was daunting, but it opened the door to a new purpose: building a creative space grounded in growth, wellness, and freedom.
My creative journey began in my early teens, sparked by a love for musical theater and a fascination with the behind-the-scenes magic that brings visual stories to life. That early curiosity blossomed into a multifaceted career spanning live entertainment, television, and film.
In 2017, I launched Maya B. Photography while simultaneously working within the Live Entertainment & Visual Media Production division of a leading global entertainment company. Over time, I evolved into roles such as Production Manager, Creative Producer, and Post-Production Supervisor, contributing to large-scale productions and meaningful projects across entertainment, nonprofit, and commercial sectors—both on land and at sea.
What started as a desire to craft an authentic brand for myself quickly grew into a mission to help others—individuals and businesses alike—step into their full potential, create meaningful work, and prioritize wellness along the way. Maya B. Creative is where ideas are nurtured, brands flourish, and people thrive—because cultivating something authentic should feel as good as it looks!
